The educational programme “Vasil Levski and His Secret Organization” builds upon the school curriculum by revealing the idea of the secret revolutionary committees, the efforts and complexity involved in their establishment and maintenance, as well as the risks of their activities. The programme helps students gain a deeper understanding of the work of the Apostle, the meaning of his work and his contribution to the Liberation of Bulgaria.
During the museum tour participants can see Levski’s authentic personal belongings, as well as the hair he cut himself when he decided to dedicate his life to the freedom of Bulgaria. They will learn about their history and how they reached us.
In the game module students put into practice the decoding of a hidden message from an authentic letter written by the Apostle using the method he used.
