“Memory for the Future” is an annual event-exhibition of the National Museum of Military History – Sofia, showcasing some of the most interesting acquisitions in the Museum’s collection from the past year. It is also a gesture of well-deserved appreciation for the Museum’s donors – descendants of Bulgarian historical figures or people who have chosen their private collections. The exhibition also includes items presented by the structures of the Ministry of Defence and other institutions, as well as items acquired through purchase by the Museum as part of its collection building. In the exhibition space are displayed some of the over 800 cultural assets received by the NMMH throughout the past year, that civer a period of more than 140 years and which bring to life individuals and events from the past.
