More than 30 Attractions, Free Admission and Family Experiences on Father’s Day at the National Museum of Military History
On 13 June (Saturday), from 10:00 to 17:00, with free admission, the National Museum of Military History (NMMH) will welcome its visitors for the most beloved family day, Father’s Day. Dedicated to the special bond between fathers and children, it will once again bring families together for a day filled with games, discoveries, challenges and shared moments. And although the celebration focuses on the relationship of fathers with their children, mothers are also welcome at the museum, because the best family memories are created together.
With over 30 booths and a wide range of attractions, the Museum will turn into a huge adventure area. Creative workshops, robots, fencing, impressive chemistry experiments, theatre, VR experiences, summer reading room, financial literacy, various educational missions and activities, snapshots, and games with prizes are just some of the entertainment. On this day, children can do it all – jump on a huge mattress, create wooden figures and city models, draw, take pictures with their favourite cartoon characters, ride bicycles, and experience the race track adrenaline – like real pilots. Special sensory and creative activities have been prepared that turn learning into a game.
And that is not all! We will make every child’s dream come true: become a soldier, policeman, or firefighter; climb aboard a military vehicle, fire engine, police car, excavator, electric minibus, some of the latest car models, even a real alpine gondola lift. In our all time favourite attraction “The Exhibits Come to Life”, subject to weather conditions, children get to enter the cockpits of the Mi-2 and Mi-8 helicopters, as well as the Luna-M missile complex.
Father’s Day will also liven up the NMMH’s branches – the Aviation Museum in Krumovo, the Vladislav Varnenchik Park-Museum and the Naval Museum in Varna.
