The National Museum of Military History presents valuable donated exhibits

Once again the National Museum of Military History presented part of its most interesting exhibits donated during the last year at the traditional exhibition „Memory for the Future“.

During her greeting speech the director of the museum assoc. prof. Sonya Penkova highlighted the exceptional importance of the deed of donation. She also bestowed the honorary badge of the National Museum of Military History to the Bulgarian National Television for the implementation of the collaborative campaign „Donate History“ and the joint efforts for the preservation of the Bulgarian cultural heritage.

Precious artifacts, that witnessed the history of Bulgaria, attracted the attention of the successors of many important historical figures, but also of donors, military history admirers, guests and friends of the museum. Some of them donated valuable documents and photographs during the ceremony so that they could too be preserved for the generations to come.

All the donors were presented with a special diploma and a ticket for an annual admission to the National Museum of Military History and to its branch museums.

The exhibition will be open for the audience until the end of February.
