The exhibition recreates the atmosphere and life of the young capital at that time; photos reveal the unique spirit of the city in the 1880s. Presented are iconic buildings, symbols of the statehood, various religious temples and views of Sofia as well. The story told by the pictures, presented in the exhibition, will be enriched by the memoirs of the contemporaries of Unification shared to us. Another touch to the fascinating history is added by some interesting exhibits from the then Sofia. Part of the exhibition is the documentary film “The Time Of Our Unification” by Svetoslav Ovcharov.
The exhibition is organized in collaboration with the Municipal Cultural Institute “Museum of the History of Sofia” and “New Boyana Film” AD.
